About the Opportunity
We’re building something bold. At BeWell, we’re launching a dedicated Eating Disorders Program - a high-impact, evidence-based outpatient offering for children, youth, and adults across Ontario. And we’re looking for a trailblazer to build it with us.
This isn’t our first time doing this. Our leadership team has a proven track record in launching and scaling a successful eating disorders clinic, including experience developing outpatient and day-treatment services, recruiting and leading high-performing clinical teams, and navigating complex care systems across Ontario.
The Eating Disorders Program Manager will play a foundational role in shaping this division from the ground up. In the first 3–6 months, you’ll maintain a caseload of your own clients while collaborating with leadership, clinical, marketing, and recruitment teams to develop and launch innovative outpatient programs (both group and individual).
Longer term, this role will evolve into a senior leadership position, with oversight of clinical teams, program direction, and strategic growth. The ideal candidate has a track record of leading, recruiting, and inspiring clinicians within the eating disorders space and is ready to help build one of the most respected outpatient programs in the province.
What You’ll Do (Initial Phase + Growth Plan)
Phase 1 (First 3–6 months): Build + Treat
- Carry a caseload of clients with eating disorders along with other clinicians on the team
- Collaborate with BeWell’s leadership team, marketers, and operations team to design and promote the program
- Help shape intake criteria, treatment protocols, and clinical structure
- Recruit clinicians to join the program, aligned with our model and values
Phase 2 (Post-Launch): Lead + Grow
- Oversee all clinical aspects of the eating disorders division, across sites and virtual
- Supervise and support a team of clinicians, ensuring clinical excellence and cohesion
- Evaluate program outcomes and adapt treatment strategies based on data and client needs
- Serve as the key point of contact with Psychiatrists, Psychologists and referral partners
- Provide mentorship, onboarding, and clinical leadership to new hires
- Ensure integration of trauma-informed, inclusive, and developmentally responsive care
What You Bring
- A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or a related field
- Registration in good standing with a regulatory college (RP, RSW, RN, or Psychologist)
- At least 4 years of direct experience treating eating disorders, ideally across the spectrum of severity
- Training in evidence-based modalities such as CBT-E, FBT, DBT, or ACT
- Proven experience in leading teams, recruiting clinicians, and program development
- Strategic thinker who’s comfortable building structure in a growing, dynamic environment
- Comfort navigating program metrics, data, and quality improvement
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative leadership style
Why this role?
This is a rare opportunity to lead something from the ground up with the backing of a leadership team that has already done this successfully before. We’re serious about creating a program that makes a lasting impact in the lives of people affected by eating disorders and we’re looking for someone just as serious about doing this work with integrity, innovation, and heart.
You’ll have:
- A competitive compensation package with base + performance components.
- Opportunities to influence future growth potentially as a branded division or standalone entity
- A leadership seat at the table in a thriving mental health clinic network
