Who You are & What You'll Do
Join our team as a Graphic Designer & Digital Content Creator. This is a part-time role and can be based out of any of our locations. Due to the nature of the role, we are only able to consider applications from candidates located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented designer who enjoys bringing ideas to life visually and creating engaging content for digital platforms. In this role, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager to translate marketing strategies, brand values, and services into compelling visual content.
For this position, you will oversee creating different types of media for all of our online and offline communication channels. The main responsibilities would be designing and producing content for social media platforms (graphics and short video formats), designing emails, designing print material & merchandise, designing pages for our website, producing and editing video content, and developing branding material.
Conceive, develop, and create media assets for all marketing communication channels (social media, website, email, print, blog, ads)
Create graphics and short-form video content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other marketing channels.
Design email graphics, marketing materials, and website visual assets, including icons, illustrations, and imagery.
Maintain brand consistency across all platforms, ensuring all visuals align with the company’s visual identity and tone.
Support the development of digital campaigns, landing pages, and promotional materials.
Develop wireframes for web pages and specific ad campaigns
Availability
For candidates applying as part-time employees, shifts may be scheduled in the morning or afternoon between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. A flexible weekly schedule can be arranged as needed.
For candidates applying as independent contractors, they are expected to maintain consistent communication during standard business hours and deliver projects within agreed timelines and turnaround expectations.
What You Bring
1-2 years of experience as a graphic designer.
Must have a degree or in the process of completing studies in graphic design, illustration, animation, UI/UX design, digital design or related. Recent graduates are welcome.
Experience creating content for digital platforms, including graphics and short-form videos.
Experience designing material for print and merchandise.
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Canva.
Experience with Wordpress is a plus.
Strong visual storytelling skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation
BeWell Health Centres off a range of competitive compensation consistent with your level of credentialing. This role will be based off an hourly rate as an hourly employee or independent contractor.
