Who You Are & What You'll Do
Join our team as an Occupational Therapist. You’ll work alongside our multi-disciplinary team and bring your expertise in ADHD, WSIB, and Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA). You will provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions to help clients achieve optimal functional independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for clients with ADHD, workplace injuries (WSIB), and motor vehicle accident-related impairments
Develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans based on evidence-based practice
Provide functional cognitive and psychosocial interventions for clients with ADHD (children, adolescents, and/or adults, depending on caseload)
Complete functional abilities evaluations (FAEs), return-to-work planning, and job-site recommendations for WSIB clients
Assess and treat physical, cognitive, and functional impairments related to MVA injuries
Provide education and strategies related to activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental ADLs, executive functioning, and vocational readiness
Collaborate closely with physicians, psychologists, physiotherapists, chiropractors, and other allied health professionals
Complete timely, accurate, and professional documentation, including WSIB and insurance reports
Communicate effectively with insurers, employers, case managers, and legal stakeholders as required
What You Bring
Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred
Demonstrated experience with ADHD assessments and treatment, WSIB, and MVA cases
Strong understanding of return-to-work programs, functional assessments, and insurance-based rehabilitation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Compensation
BeWell Health Centers offer a range of competitive compensation consistent with your level of credentialing. This role will be based off a practitioner split model or base salary
